First cheque presented to Love You 2 Appeal for Mobile Recycle Scheme

The One Point have presented the Love You 2 Appeal with their first Mobile Phone Recycle payment under the Phone 'R' Donor campaign. The initiative is managed and maintained by The One Point for the Dove House Appeal. The One Point collects, values, and recycles any old mobile phone and gifts 100% of the money to the Love You 2 Appeal for Dove House Charity.

The Phone 'R' Donor mobile phone recycling scheme is the latest fundraising service developed by The One Point for the campaign. Other services and schemes include the website and the Buy a Block Scheme, where businesses can donate £100 to receive a building block that in total represents the new hospice being funded.

Alison Ellis, Director of Mobile Solutions for The One Point, said, "This is an excellent way of raising money for the charity. Businesses have been generous. We just need the word to get out even more. I am confident that there are thousands of pounds worth of old mobiles hanging around in businesses and bottom drawers at home."
