TOP give vital services to Survivors Charity

Survivors are a specialist counselling offering a uniquely safe environment for male and female survivors of rape, sexual violence or childhood sexual abuse.
Survivors approached The One Point to solve their IT and Broadband issues. After a charity visit, our MD, Martin Lauer, was so moved by the charity's selfless work he decided to sponsor the service indefinitely, giving the charity a real chance to grow and support more victims.

Denise McCullen, Manager of the charity, said, the "As the manager of a very busy counselling organisation that struggles to secure core funding for our key services, it was refreshing to have the support of The One Point when we needed to access and upgrade our broadband facilities at our offices in Hull. The Director, Martin Lauer, attended the initial briefing in person and really listened to the needs of our organisation. A survey was carried out, and the installation was completed with minimum fuss and has resulted in more efficient ways of working, improved communications and networking facilities at Survivors (Hull & East Riding), and enabled us to access more funding opportunities. With eighteen counsellors and support staff, we could not deliver our services without the kind and generous support of Martin and The One Point.
