O2 Triple Win at uSwitch Awards

celebration explosion

At the uSwitch.com Mobile Awards in London last night, O2 left the Gherkin building with three of the most coveted titles.

The comparison site’s annual awards are a pretty big deal – uSwitch.com’s impartiality means that when O2 win one of these awards, they know they’ve really earned it. Nominees were selected using a national Mobile Awards Survey, before a panel of expert judges (from Tech Radar, Forbes, BBC and Huffington Post just to name a few) got their heads together to decide the winners.

This year O2 came away with three highly-coveted shiny pieces to take home and display with pride:

  • Best Network Coverage (a close race to the finish line with Vodafone, but they beat them by 3%)
  • Best Pay as you Go offering (a winning combination of their great network coverage, Big Bundles tariffs and Priority rewards)
  • Best for Roaming (the public and judges loved their O2 Travel ¬£1.99 inc vat/day roaming bolt on)

Nina Bibby, Chief Marketing Officer: “I’m delighted we’ve won these awards.  It’s great recognition for our teams across the business working hard to put the customer at the centre of everything we do.  We won two awards in 2013 – winning three this year is even more impressive, and I’m hoping we can all work together for even more success at the awards in 2015.”
