The One Point extend their Super League media output

Over the past 3 years The One Point Group have invested in new media technologies to help market a sport we are very passionate about. It started with Hull FC.com and their HullFC.TV service.

Nexus and The One Point Partnership

The One Point have now partnered with Nexus to provide businesses in Hull with cheaper line rentals and calls. Following a few months of providing the service to our own customers Nexus have now agreed to add us to their authorised resellers in order to proivide this service to any business in Hull or with a KCOM line.

Businesses can now make huge savings across their communcations the same way businesses outside Hull have managed to obtain for a number of years.

The One Point agree to sponsor Hull KR's Clint Newton for the 4th year

Clint Newton, an American born Australian professional rugby league player previously playing for the Melbourne Storm and the Newcastle Knights, has been sponsored by The One Point for the 4th year in a row.

Scoring 2 hat tricks last season - Clint is certainly a big favourite with all of the Robins fans. Darren Sunley, Director of Communications, said "As a company we have always supported Rugby League in a big way.

The One Point Open New Offices in the South

In November The One Point opened up its first retail premises in Sturmington Newton, Dorset. The premises are run by Richard South and Michael Vasilakis and offers The One Point 'single source of supply' service model to consumers as well as businesses.

The pilot, one of many planned for the future, has demonstrated month-on-month growth of over 400% - so hopefully a sure sign for the future. Martin Lauer said,

The One Point Sponsor Andrew Marvell Awards For The 3rd Year

The One Point have again sponsored the Andrew Marvell pupil Awards Evening on Thursday.  The award that The One Point are sponsoring is the Headteachers Prize.  The prize goes to a pupil that against all odds and difficult circumstances has achieved above and beyond what they were ever expected to achieve.  Kerry-Ann Burrell, the Community and Business Links Manager at Andrew Marvell, said; "We are greatly appreciative that once again The One Point are happy to be involved and support the awards evening.  It is very uplifting to see so many businesses coming together to support education in Hull especially during such difficult economic times."

The Mobile Point part of The One Point become iPhone Authorised

Today The Mobile Point, part of The One Point Group, became iPhone Authorised.  The iPhone originally released on O2 and initially only available via O2 Direct and Carphone Warehouse is now available on Orange via The Mobile Point.  Orange have carefully selected partners within the independent channel to market, sell and distribute the iPhone, The Mobile Point has met with all of Orange’s strict requirements and quality standards in order to become authorised.  Martin Lauer, Group MD of The One Point said; “I am very proud that the company has passed the strict criteria laid down by Apple via Orange.  The iPhone is very popular with businesses as well as consumers so will no doubt fly off the shelves.  I would like to congratulate the team for a great team effort in offering continual value to our customers and the mobile networks alike.”

TOP sponsor the Bidford lights switch on for the 4th year with Una Stubbs

The One Point have agreed to sponsor the Bidford lights switch on for the 4th year in a row; this years lights are being switched on by Una 'Aunt Sally' Stubbs.  Over the last 5 years the Bidford On Avon Christmas Lights Committee  have managed to raise enough money to decorate the whole village with Christmas colour and cheer via a local lottery, a duck race and other fundraising events.

WHCR FM recieve valuable partnership support from The One Point Media

The One Point have agreed to become a partner of the WHCR FM radio station.  Jon Gibbins, IT and Communications Manager for the Group said; "I really like what WHCR are about.  I have run small stations in the past and know that getting to your audience is critical.  Through the new 'live streaming' player that we are going to supply WHCR can now go global."
