Our Principle Software Architect David Carr joins Software Development Advisory Board of Baltic Apprenticeships who are looking to industry professionals to shape the future of their software development curriculum.
The programme gave David the opportunity to share valuable insights into industry trends and employer requirements so future trainees will complete their education better equip to join the workforce.
The curriculum is measured against the Software developer / Institute for Apprenticeships and Technical Education
Baltic approached David for his views as they strive to give their students the best start with the skills employers are looking for. And employers such as The One Point benefit from when students have both academic and practical knowledge.
David said “It was great to see Baltic consider the education program from a business perspective and it’s encouraging to see academic programs become more open to real work problems solving and skill building in areas like testing.”
