HCUK (Hull College Group)

The Hull College Group recently acquired Goole and Harrogate colleges as part of the same educational body. For this, the college developed a new brand to tie all the colleges together under one umbrella, called “HCUK”. As part of the redevelopment of the brand, the college required 3 new web sites that were all separately managed with different content, but tied to the brand with its design.

The One Point Media has delivered the new websites with new advanced course finder facilities, as well as allowing the user to navigate into their required section to find their course. Dependant upon each potential students circumstances, they can find the type of courses that are available to them.

Users are able to watch the new promotional films via the front page, as The One Point Media have optimised the videos from DVD into Flash Video, the ideal technology for watching videos online. DDA Compliance and Accessibility was a key requirement for the college on their new website, so we have provided full guidelines and control panel that will allow the user to specify which colour scheme they would like to view the website in.
